There is something about the laid-back approach, the purity of this place, which we find magnetic. So it’s no wonder that when we are in need of a detox, this is our standby destination. Here, organic is king, and most dishes are vegan and raw (meaning they’re left uncooked to keep nutrients and enzymes intact). Fresh-squeezed juices are amazing, too. Although the menu changes frequently, try the exotic rice-filled pepper or asparagus and mushroom tamales if they are available. Vegan Caesar salad, raw pizza and uncooked apple pie are also worth a try.
