THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kouzzina by Cat Cora Restaurant Review:

Most of the food world knows Cat Cora as the first and only female Iron Chef on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.” But she’s also a savvy businesswoman who teamed up with Disney to open her first table-service restaurant, Kouzzina by Cat Cora, along Disney World’s busy BoardWalk. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, the 200-seat restaurant features a menu of Mediterranean-style cuisine that pays tribute to her Greek roots. (“Kouzzina” is Greek for kitchen.) With recipes passed down from Cora’s Southern-Greek family, diners will find breakfast specialties such as spinach, tomato and feta scrambled eggs, and blueberry-orange granola pancakes. Family-style dining is encouraged at dinner, with favorites like a slow-cooked lamb shank with gigantes beans; and fisherman’s stew and grilled bread. We think it’s fun to focus on the mezze, from the Greek salad and stuffed grape leaves to crisp calamari and seared haloumi cheese. For dessert, share the rich chocolate budino cake, or keep it light with Greek-style yogurt sorbet. Sip a frappé, the Greek version of iced coffee with lots of milk and sugar over ice, or if you’re brave, try a chilled shot of licorice-flavored ouzo. Opa!
