La Panineria Restaurant Review:
La Panineria packs a lot of Italian gusto between two slices of bread. Choose one of a dozen and a half (mostly) reasonably priced sandwiches, the majority of which are named after Italian cities. The Portofino comes with cooked ham, arugula and fig jam, offering a bit of sweet to the savory. The Bologna, naturally, is loaded with mortadella. The Sicilia is crammed with mozzarella, organic tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Or you can up the ante with one of the specialty sandwiches, including the truffle-loaded prosciutto and Parmigiano sandwich.
