Le Pichet Restaurant Review:

With daily specials, assorted cheeses, desserts chalked out on blackboards, and bottles of Lillet lining the narrow dining room’s bar, Le Pichet captures the feel of France better than any other place in Seattle. Owned and managed by chef Jim Drohman with his business partner Joanne Herron, the restaurant offers four menus: Le Déjeuner (lunch), Le Dîner (dinner), La Charcuterie (various meats) and Le Casse Croûte (assorted snacks). Dishes change throughout the year, but count on charcuterie such as pâtés, sausages, and smoked or cured meats. During colder winter months, look for a hearty gratin Lyonnaise. Whole chickens are roasted to order and may be accompanied by wild mushrooms, mustard greens, and Chantal cheese cream sauce. Wines, served by the glass from ceramic "pichets" or by the bottle, are first-rate and fairly priced.
