The Library Alehouse Restaurant Review:

The Library Alehouse has a cozy ambience patterned after the arts-and-crafts style of L.A.’s public library buildings from the ’30s, as well as an attractive patio that is heated in the winter. Alex P. Davis, a certified Cicerone (beer sommelier), can recommend a selection from the lengthy craft beer list to enjoy with the creative fare. To start, there are fried Brussels sprouts, beer-braised mussels and carne asada. Vegetarians will find an array of dishes to satisfy their needs: roasted beets in a ginger vinaigrette, and arugula with candied walnuts and Fuji apple, for example. Large plates are made up of hearty dishes like beer-brined and fried chicken, creamy mushroom risotto, vegan roasted pumpkin curry, and fish ‘n’ chips made with cod. Plenty of burgers are on offer, of course, all of which can be made with a Lindner buffalo patty instead of traditional beef. Sticky toffee pudding or a beer float make for winning desserts.
