Limon Rotisserie Restaurant Review:

This Peruvian rotisserie (sister to the flagship Limon on Valencia) is known for one thing: roasted chicken. We're talking salty, garlic-infused rotisserie birds, blistered on the outside and tender within. This lick-your-fingers feast is priced fairly (a half-chicken is $16.95), and there’s a plentiful selection of sides. Diners unafraid of carbohydrates will want the tacu-tacu, a dense rice-and-bean cake, or fat, starchy yucca fries perfect for running through cups of rocoto and chimichurri sauces. Ceviche makes a fine starter, especially the mixto, which includes halibut, calamari and tiger shrimp marinated in lime juice, garlic and rocoto, served with large, chewy corn kernels and sweet potato chunks. Featuring big windows, small wooden tables, friendly servers and a semi-open kitchen, Limon Rotisserie's vibe is casual but classy. Customers tend to linger over lunch, soaking up conversation and ice-cold mugs of Cusqueña beer.
