The Lion's Share Restaurant Review:

The Lion's Share is the preferred watering hole of savvy barmen across town because of its cocktail program, inventive menu and highly original ambience. Locals and visitors frequent it, too. Whimsical artwork abounds, as famous paintings where humans are replaced by animals cover the walls. The adventurous menu calls for bison tartare with fried capers, rabbit pie, wild boar sausage boards and antelope sliders. There’s also tamer fare like hanger steak with bone marrow butter, deviled eggs with truffle and prosciutto, and grilled yellowtail with grilled sweet corn. Handcrafted drinks sport clever names such as St. Elizabeth Sexy Party (bourbon with cinnamon, allspice and chocolate bitters) and Hunter Thompson (mezcal, pineapple-infused rum, raspberry, lime and barrel-aged bitters). A daily happy hour presents wild boar BLTs, house-cut truffle fries, drinks specials and more, while the late-night menu (served from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.) means noshing at midnight. The crowd is eclectic and cool.
