THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Little Frog Restaurant Review:

Little Frog understands the nuances of bistro cooking. It also looks and feels the part. The long bar that greets you evokes a place where you’d want to order oysters and sip a few glasses of Lillet. Or maybe you’d prefer one of the Parisian bistro-style woven chairs and banquettes where you might see a very familiar seafood tableau, accompanied by a French baguette. On the menu is classic French fare like coq au vin classique, steak frites, skate Grenobloise and chocolate pot de crème, brought to you by chef Xavier Monge. Owner Francois Latapie walks the room, greeting and recommending, lending even more warmth to the conviviality. For a somewhat over-the-top meal, skip the appetizer and share the showpiece canard laqué aux épices d’orient, a whole Normandy duck flambéed with bourbon, leaving room for the massive and Willy Wonka-esque Frogger sundae dessert creation. If you come for brunch, try the restaurant’s satisfying Frogger burger made with cheddar and maple bacon. The long wine list is French-focused with occasional side trips to Italy, Alsace, Austria and the Americas. Twelve wines by the glass are offered along with a refined selection of cocktails and apéritifs.
