Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant Review:

Along with branches of Banana Republic and Crate & Barrel, The Grove can count on Maggiano's Little Italy to draw a diverse crowd to its clubby booths and familiar dishes, many served family style. They're all here: urban hipsters meeting for drinks at the bar, singles, couples, families and the after-work set. Lunch and dinner menus mirror each other closely: appetizers, soups, salads, pastas and specialties. Sandwiches (Italian beef, peppers and onions; and salmon, bacon and avocado) also make an appearance at lunch, and expanded chicken, veal and seafood options surface at dinner, along with steaks and chops. Guess what? Portions are huge, so take advantage of the half-order versions. Good bread arrives promptly with olive oil and balsamic. Al dente spaghetti supports a bright marinara sauce that pops with fresh tomato flavor. Flexibility is Maggiano's middle name, so go ahead and substitute one of four different sauces on any pasta dish. At dinner, meat lovers may choose from entrées like chicken Parmesan and veal Marsala. A stately oak staircase separates the boisterous goings-on below from the private rooms upstairs destined to celebrate many babies and brides.
