Manzanita Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Lovers of traditional fine dining make the trek to the Verde Valley town of Cornville, 15 miles southwest of Sedona, to eat at Manzanita Restaurant. The founding chef, Swiss-born-and-trained master chef Al Kramer III, had cooked for international luminaries as diverse as Queen Elizabeth II, Muhammad Ali, the Kennedys and Elvis Presley. The food features fresh produce from the restaurant's garden, and includes entrées like sauerbraten and wiener schnitzel and such dishes as French escargots, grilled portobellos, salmon crêpes, prime rib, pistachio-crusted chicken breast, lobster tail and more. Don't miss sides of potato pancakes and German potato salad. Ask for wine pairing suggestions from your server; they're always happy to help you have the best possible experience. And hope that the dessert tray holds berry cake or homemade pie. Settle in amid a homey old-world ambience under candlelight or enjoy the beautiful Verde Valley weather on the outdoor patio.
