Mariposa Restaurant Review:

Mariposa is located on the third floor of Ala Moana Center's Neiman Marcus store. Once you enter the airy, plantation-style dining room, you'll forget you're in the middle of Hawaii's largest shopping mall. The menu is refreshed seasonally with regionally inspired dishes that make the most of the best local ingredients. Among the composed salads is one with sesame seared ahi, greens, Maui onions, tomatoes, radish sprouts, cucumber, avocado and an onion-soy dressing. Lighter and gluten-free options are clearly marked throughout the menu, but if you choose to indulge, select from the savory pastas, black truffle burger with roasted garlic aïoli, or the signature lobster club sandwich. Service is always professional, and you will never be rushed from the table, so linger over a long lunch with a cocktail or two, or enjoy a sunset view of Ala Moana Beach Park from the outdoor lanai.
