Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Owned by Mastro’s Restaurants, this spot looks a little sleeker and feels a little younger than its starchy corporate counterparts. As is true at the other Mastro's, dim lights and live entertainment create the sort of night-clubby atmosphere that encourages eating, drinking and being merry.

Food: But for those who come for the meat (not the meat market), Mastro's does remarkably well in this arena, too, offering Midwestern, corn-fed beef (USDA Prime, of course), wet-aged for 21 to 28 days and cut in the temperature-controlled, in-house butcher shop. The result is a charred and juicy slab that sizzles on a 400-degree plate. Naturally, there are chicken and seafood dishes as well as a slew of potato and vegetable sides. Forget about calories. This happy, hedonistic place is all about living in the moment.
