Molly's at the Market Restaurant Review:

Named in part for its proximity to the famed New Orleans French Market, Molly's at the Market is known for good drinks and better gossip. As this is a favorite watering hole for local media pros, information flows pretty freely. Its old brick walls encase an eclectic environment accented by decades of collectibles that also hang from the aged ceiling. Coffee is just not coffee without an exaggerated shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey. The crowd routinely spills out onto the sidewalk, so the area outside the front door is considered part of the bar. And where else can you find a jukebox that offers a mix of Frank Sinatra, Talking Heads and Lenny Kravitz? Two of the best nights to hit Molly’s are St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, when the bar sponsors a traditional New Orleans holiday parade.
