Clearly the view from the front patio is the big draw, but the food holds up its end of the bargain as well. It’s not full-on gourmet, but the location and casual approach are appreciated by locals and visitors. Seafood stars are the shrimp salad, seared scallops, and the New England clam chowder, while turf standouts are the pulled pork sandwich, the New York steak and lamb chops with garlic cream sauce. All menus are à la carte, allowing guests to choose exactly the sides desired. Desserts are pretty basic. The moderately priced wine list showcases local favorites, and the full bar offers the option of enjoying a spicy seaside Bloody Mary.
