Mustard Seed Cafe Restaurant Review:

In addition to the café's physical charms --- homey plaid-and-floral curtains, folksy art on mustard-colored walls and a few tables spilling onto the sidewalk under green awnings --- you can easily fall for the food. At breakfast, that means healthy but flavorful omelets made with egg whites, tomato, avocado, mushrooms, broccoli, basil, Jack and cheddar cheeses; eggs Benedict; or a pair of eggs scrambled with penne pasta, bacon and Cajun spices. At lunch, don’t miss the ahi soft tacos with house-made rémoulade, or a juicy rosemary turkey burger. Blackboard coffee and tea options are highlighted by Pirate’s Chai, which is spicier and less sweet. A countertop pastry case displays baked goods like cappuccino brownies and lemon shortbread. The Mustard Seed is a nice neighborhood hangout, but also convenient before or after a visit to Griffith Park.
