The name says it all: Paladar takes vibrant Latin flavors and kicks them up several notches, and it also explores the heady world of exotic rums via an extensive list. Start with ceviche or a chorizo and cheese pupusa before tackling Brazilian feijoada, Cuban ropa vieja, or rum-glazed Cuban pork. You can also pick up tacos, quesadillas and Latin wraps. The lunch and dinner menus are similar, but in the evening you’ll find the addition of Veracruz seafood stew, Jamaican curried shrimp and more. Brunch takes the culinary theme and turns it into such dishes as fried eggs and chorizo hash, adobo shrimp and grits, and sweet potato pancakes. Whenever you stop by, order the dulce de leche cheesecake for dessert.
