THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Picanha Restaurant Review:

Brazilian churrascarias are popular --- an Atkins Dieter's dream --- yet some can disappoint. Picanha is one of the better ones, thanks to a stylish dining room and food that doesn't seem quite as mass-produced as at some competitors. Begin your evening with a caipirinha, a classic Brazilian cocktail that's the bar's specialty. Then head over to the big salad/hot food buffet, offering everything from traditional hearts of palm salad to Brazilian black beans and mashed potatoes. Back at your table, however, is the real show. Adjust a marker on the table to green, and a parade of grilled meats will arrive at your table, carved right onto your plate off of long spits that look like swords. The meats --- tri tip, lamb, pork ribs, Brazilian sausages, and a cut of sirloin called picanha --- will keep coming until you adjust the marker back to red. Desserts include cheesecake, flan and passion fruit mousse.
