Restaurant Bricco Restaurant Review:

Chef Billy Grant’s entire menu was designed around the hearty, homespun meals his mother used to prepare every Sunday afternoon for the whole family. Loud and festive and bolstered by an open kitchen, Bricco, one of Grant's three distinctive restaurants, is always an exciting place to be. Things only get more thrilling as you make your way through Grant's ever-evolving menu of innovative New Italian fare. Handmade pastas served in mostly classic fashion are so satisfyingly hearty we rarely make it to the relatively simple meat-and-three-style entrées. The wood-fired, thin-crusted artisanal pizzas are good too, though unfortunately only available at lunch; we're partial to the bianco, on which ricotta and goat cheese combine with roasted garlic and red onions plus a drizzle of pistachio and truffle honey. Then there are the desserts: from gelato and sorbets to homemade cannolis, it is often hard to decide.
