THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rimel's Rotisserie Restaurant Review:

Even though restaurateur Matt Rimel has gone on to local fame with the chic Zenbu, we still like his namesake flagship eatery, which has been going strong since 1993. Freshness and consistency keep the tiny restaurant packed with regulars --- so thank goodness for the spacious patio. We recommend this classic dish: hormone-free, grain-fed rotisserie chicken with your choice of herb-roasted red potatoes, garlic-mashed potatoes or black beans and rice. Grilled over mesquite wood, each combo comes with a selection of sauces: sweet pepper, Sriracha, green chile, garlic, peanut, salsa fresca and barbecue. In season, go for the Baja-style lobster with rice, beans and warm tortillas. Other mainstays are the grilled mahi mahi tacos (two corn tortillas stuffed with grilled fish, cabbage and sauce) and the steaming rice bowls (with freshly stir-fried vegetables and a choice of rotisserie chicken, filet mignon, turkey breast or calamari). This is a great place for families, as both kids and pets are welcome.
