THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ristorante Portovino Restaurant Review:

Comfort food is what Portovino is all about. At a glance, the restaurant is a welcoming place where the aroma of bread and pizza wafts through the air, embracing diners with a promise of a good meal. The menu displays an array of basic Italian courses, from the antipastis to the pastas. But the main attraction is the veal, which is a 100 percent Quebec milk-fed; osso buco à la Milanaise is served with angel hair pasta. The eatery also serves steaks such as AAA Angus, and meat lovers will find Portovino the Holy Grail for the grill options. Although the restaurant shines with its traditional and classical dishes, it also ventures into the innovative with such offerings as pasta topped with the bold flavors of blue cheese, roasted peppers, walnuts and Cognac. Other main courses include tortelli in a creamy rosé sauce or linguine with pesto. Fresh fish and seafood choices are also available. The kids menu will please families.
