The Rustic Goat Restaurant Review:

The Rustic Goat was constructed with the “cool factor” in mind. While small, the building gives the impression of being tall with windows galore. Strikingly modern compared with its surroundings, it's also warm and welcoming. Inside, the noise is noticeable, especially when live music is playing, but an upstairs deck offers a summertime escape. The limited, eclectic menu appeals with kid-friendly pizzas and Bison Sliders featuring fresh ground bison, fig jam, Cambozola and arugula on a pretzel bun. Start with the beet salad tossed in a zesty yogurt, garlic and dill dressing. Also appealing, familiar and yet different, the four-cheese house-made gnocchi with ricotta, Asiago, Pecorino and Parmesan cheeses, which is served with pork medallions, spinach and parsnips dressed in a garlic cream sauce. Be sure to save room for dessert and order the Rustic Goat S'Mores, a pot de crème layered with graham cracker crumbles and marshmallow fluff. Wine fans will enjoy perusing the wine menu and possibly indulging in a 20-year-old tawny port. Professional service adds to the refreshing feeling of being somewhere other than Anchorage.
