THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Saint Austere Restaurant Review:

A narrow space made up of a long bar and three large communal tables, this gem of a Williamsburg restaurant may operate under the foodie radar, but that’s no reason you shouldn’t pay it a visit. Small plates and pastas are comforting and well-executed. Creamy polenta, spiked with sausage and chicken jus, is addictive. We could eat the pork belly croquettes paired with a chicken liver dipping sauce all day. Broccoli rabe isn’t just broccoli rabe: it’s intermingled with anchovies, boiled eggs and Parmigiano, a riff on the Caesar salad. Pappardelle with short rib was oddly bland; a few sprinkles of salt, though, brightened up the dish nicely. End the meal with creamy bread pudding or tiramisu sprinkled with flaky sea salt. A list of European wines highlights family-owned estates, and craft beers, spirits and cocktails are also available.
