Salumeria Rosi Restaurant Review:

A jewel box of an Italian restaurant, located near the Beacon Theater, Salumeria Rosi offers salumi (cured meats) and Tuscan fare. Knowledgeable servers will inform you of daily specials, like a rare Iberico ham. Follow that with a parade of small bites including white sardines, olives, and lasagna with béchamel sauce, and you’ll have a Tuscan feast in what feels like your own dining room or kitchen. Wine choices are first-rate including a notable Barolo that’s worth your full-day’s salary. You’ll need to call and leave a message to secure a reservation. Because of the restaurant’s small size (only 32 seats), walk-ins are difficult, but the meat counter will gladly put together a to-go feast.
