Sam Sato's Restaurant Review:
Owned and operated by the same family since the 1930s, this Wailuku spot has long been a destination for noodles---saimin, wonton mein, dry noodles and chow fun---served with vegetables or without. It’s also known for manju, a traditional Japanese rice cake filled with bean paste. Aside from those items, the menu is simple: eggs, omelets and hot cakes, and a local-style plate lunch all served until 2 p.m.
