Sartoria Restaurant Review:

The room is elegant and long, with a row of windows running down all of one side. Tables are well-spaced, chairs comfortable, glassware and cutlery of the right order. The mood and atmosphere is decidedly luxurious, playing somewhat overtly on the name, meaning “tailor,” to the point where your bill arrives on a pincushion. Theme aside, however, the largely Italian menu pleases, with dishes like antipasti relying on the freshest of ingredients, risotto and pasta kicking off the meal. Follow with the likes of spit-roast leg of lamb with tomatoes and olives, or sea bream with peas and wild garlic. Keeping the regulars interested is a monthly changing regional Italian menu. The wine list sports super Tuscans by the bucketful and will relieve you of your money in the same receptacle if you are not careful. Service is efficient and delightful. Or you can perch at the bar and eat a range of antipasti. Set meals 2 courses £20, 3 courses £25.
