Savor Restaurant Review:


On weekend mornings, Noe Valley locals hover outside the plate glass window entrance of this neighborhood spot. On the other side, stacks of giant scones and muffins taunt. Beyond that, a line of cooks hurriedly flip crêpes and burgers. A high-ceilinged dining room evokes a vaguely Mediterranean décor but keeps it simple and approachable as this is a family-friendly spot. Outdoor tables are dappled with sunlight that streams in from between the umbrellas and overhanging trees. The same menu is served all day. Breakfast for dinner, anyone? Almost twenty crêpes are available, from the savory Barcelona with Fontina, caramelized onions, spinach and mushrooms to the sweet Oruba with fresh strawberries, cinnamon and brown sugar. Scrambles and omelets are accompanied by fragrant rosemary-roasted potatoes. We also like the hearty burger.
