Sbicca Restaurant Review:

You’ll find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at Sbicca. Nearly every night of the week, the place buzzes with after-work drinkers and local diners. We like to sit upstairs under the stars as we nosh on eclectic American fare or spend happy hour on the front patio and watch the scene. Start with mussels bathed in saffron Dijon broth or the Korean beef lettuce wraps with strawberry, cucumber and mint. We enjoy the classic iceberg wedge with apple wood-smoked bacon and blue cheese dressing. A straightforward but satisfying option is the bistro steak frites with chimichurri. For a taste of the sea, seared diver scallops come with brown butter, butternut squash risotto, toasted pine nuts and wild organic arugula. For a sweet finish, spiced chai crème brûlée with fresh strawberries satisfies. Good deals on wine run consistently with half-priced bottles Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there is no corkage fee on Sundays. Sbicca's wine list favors California, with a handful of nice selections from Oregon and Washington.
