Three high profile chefs have teamed up to create a three-menus-in-one casual department store eatery at Macy's Home Store South Coast Plaza. Iron chef Cat Cora brings her Southern roots to Cat Cora's 'Que (known as CCQ); Marcus Samuelsson melds cultures with his Marc Burger menu; Nancy Silverton, formerly of La Brea Bakery, puts her stamp of approval on a small menu of her café favorites. CCQ offers smoked meats like pulled pork and beef brisket that come with eight different inventive sauces. Marc Burger brings grass-fed beef, all-natural and artisanal-style ingredients to the variety of burgers, fries and salads. Try the barbecue burger, which is seasoned with paprika and then topped with apple wood-smoked bacon and chunky barbecue sauce. The bakery's fresh breads like the rustic roll are paired with such ingredients as avocado, apple wood-smoked bacon, watercress, sweet onion and green goddess dressing.
