THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED SkyCity at the Needle Restaurant Review:

At the top of what may be Seattle's most famous structure --- the Space Needle from the 1962 World's Fair --- this continually rotating restaurant matches its extensive menu with a 360-degree view. Classic Pacific Northwest-inspired dishes include starters such as Dungeness crab cakes, local oysters, and prosciutto-wrapped bites of Seattle's own Beecher's cheese. Entrées, which are listed with suggested wine pairings, may range from wild king salmon with raspberry beurre rouge, chervil potatoes and sugar snap peas to New York strip steak with duck fat frites. For dessert, the Lunar Orbiter is a must --- it has been on the menu since the restaurant first opened. The wine list offers a good selection of well-priced Washington wines. Brunch is a special opportunity to experience the views for a smaller sum. One bonus to dining at SkyCity: The cost of taking the elevator to the Space Needle's Observation Deck ($21 for general admission/$19 online) is included with your restaurant reservation. Subtract this from the cost of your meal, and the bill will seem downright appealing. Service is professional and welcoming.
