THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Smokehouse Live Restaurant Review:

This vibrant, flashy barbecue restaurant in Leesburg’s Village Market area offers much more than smoky meats. Patrons can sip 70-plus bourbons, chomp on hot and cold sides (organic cheese grits, anyone?), and settle in for an evening of rock/jazz/country/folk music performed almost nightly. That explains the restaurant’s enormous setting with ample seating in the dining and bar areas. But unlike at most establishments, ordering a meal is different: waitstaff hands you an order blank, explains the drill, and sends you up to the serving line. There, patrons can select from among huge ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken and sausages before moving down to the sides section. Staff carefully measures out each portion in ounce-size cups so there is no real splurging. Flavors are engaging, and the smoky aromas confirm that this place is all about the grill. Desserts are country-style, with Whoopie pies, cookies and cakes, among other choices. Besides the bourbons and numerous brews, the kitchen offers its own versions of iced tea and lemonade.
