Huseyin Ozer, founder of the Sofra chain and Ozer, is a busy man, but he's often to be found here, in this two-story, light and airy establishment. The restaurants have now adopted a friendly-to-all approach in their menus so you can order from dishes with international inspiration---from conventional grilled salmon to chicken fillet with potato wedges. But it’s a Middle Eastern restaurant and you’d do best to stick to the classic Middle Eastern tastes, with fresh ingredients simply cooked. Try meze such as hummus and taramasalata, kisir, imam bayildi, tabbouleh and a whole lot more. There is even a surprising, good Turkish wine list. This friendly place is a godsend in Covent Garden. Lunch and pre-theatre menu £7.95 to 7pm, £9.95 after 7pm; Healthy 12 meze dish menu £12.95 to 7pm, £15.95 to midnight.
