This stylish restaurant often gets overlooked in a city where you can’t throw a meatball without hitting an Italian eatery. But its menu is loaded with goodness: crispy sweetbreads (with hot cherry peppers), addictive veal tonnato crostino, and pork rillettes (complete with a crispy pig’s ear) are standout starters. Gnudi, dumplings from northern Italy, are delicate and explode with flavor; thick homemade pici pasta pairs well with slightly spicy pork ragù. Don't skip dessert: the banana torta is doused with butterscotch mousse and paired with maple-ginger gelato. The all-Italian wine list is a good one, with some affordable options by the glass. There’s also a nice selection of craft beers.
