Surprisingly good food aboard a comfortable and fun ship equals a unique experience. Spirit Cruises sets sail nightly from the Chelsea Piers and offers diners a multi-course meal that’s fit for an admiral. The three-hour cruise includes live music and, if the spirit moves you, dancing. Choose between the Spirit Cruises, which features a grand buffet, or the more upscale Bateaux New York, an all-glass vessel that floats around the isle of Manhattan, while hungry cruisers dine on tender rotisserie chicken, pan-seared mahi mahi, fresh Maryland crab cakes, and juicy lamb steak (which is accompanied by creamy polenta). Your taste buds might be satisfied, but sailing around New York, the real feast is for the eyes.
