Splash Wine Lounge Restaurant Review:

Splash Wine Lounge is a lively North Park scene, with myriad local and international wines on tap. Guests sample wines from three different Enomatic wine dispensing systems in a casual setting. With a pre-paid card in hand, oenophiles and neophytes alike can discover new varietals and vintners that range from cheap and cheerful to exotic and pricey. And if one likes a specific wine, it can be purchased and carried home. Try the house signature dish, "splackers" (homemade saltines baked in olive oil and spices), with raspberry chipotle cream cheese as a refreshing bite. There's also crunchy crostini with spinach, artichoke and Parmesan spreads; baked Brie; various dips; and generous salads like the spinach topped with warm goat cheese cuddled in an herb crumble. We suggest building your own flatbread or ordering the Mediterranean with heaps of goodies like olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, feta and mozzarella. We like the old black-and-white movies screening, too.
