St. Stephen’s Green Publick House Restaurant Review:

We like the fireside dining at this Spring Lake restaurant, where the single malt Irish whiskey ranges from Balvenie to Oban. There’s lots of authentic Irish fare, too, such as colcannon, the hearty potato and cabbage mélange, and fish ‘n’ chips, and many Irish-American inspired dishes --- think Irish Kettle chips with crisp Irish bacon, melted cheddar, a sprinkling of blue cheese and a scattering of scallions. This is a lively place with much going on and a grand sense of fun. Meals are hearty but be sure to save room for the “extra special dessert” of Irish banoffee pie, with its super-sweet graham cracker crust that holds a mixture of toffee and bananas, all topped with whipped cream.
