THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Stanton Social Restaurant Review:

Small plates in a chic setting are a major trend, and The Stanton Social was one of the first restaurants of the genre. In a vast multi-level space designed in high AvroKo style, chef Chris Santos turns out a wide range of dishes to suit any palate---although the smooth crowds here don’t always seem that interested in food. Standouts include the French onion soup dumplings with their melted Gruyère exterior and onion soup center. Other sides worth savoring include the wok-charred edamame with spicy miso glaze, and the grilled oven-dried tomato pizetta. Though the lack of demarcation between appetizer and entrée can be frustrating during the ordering process, don’t let that stop you from trying the Kobe beef sliders, served atop brioche. Latin cuisine is also well represented, especially by the juicy ancho-glazed caramel pork tenderloin and the ceviche, served in a martini glass. There are some misses (understandable when the almost always full dining room overtaxes the kitchen) but if you want to take in some clever bites as well as a busy scene, The Stanton Social is one of the best in the neighborhood.
