Stars Restaurant Review:

Stars, the signature restaurant of one of the Cape's premier hotels, the Chatham Bars Inn, offers traditional steakhouse fare in an elegant, oceanside setting. Although Midwestern dry-aged beef is the highlight, the menu features fresh produce from the Chatham Bars Inn farm, lobster bisque and local seafood like Atlantic swordfish from the grill, as well as a raw bar. Stars is designed to appeal to a big city clientele, and at prices that are more reflective of Manhattan than most of the Cape. However, the location is pure New England seaside and there’s professional fine dining service, which few Cape Cod restaurants provide. Desserts include a napoleon, house-made ice creams and, for the more adventurous, a chef's surprise. The wine list is fairly extensive by Cape Cod standards and a nice selection of cocktails is available, too. Dinner is when the place truly comes to life, though a small breakfast menu is also offered.
