Sushi Sumo Restaurant Review:
This comfortable establishment features a pleasant sushi bar and dishes from Chinese, Thai and Japanese culinary traditions. Spicy tuna tartare mounded on a plate is graced with artfully sliced avocado and tobiko (flying fish roe). Shu mai (steamed dumplings) filled with Japanese shrimp make fine little noshes. Specials of the day deserve a look. Green lip mussels come baked with a spicy sauce; equally intriguing is the rarely found rock shrimp, crisply fried and served with a sweet chili sauce. Rolls are competently prepared and presented with substantial flair. For dessert, it's green tea ice cream. Lunch deals will keep the tab well under ten bucks.
