Ten 50 BBQ’s pitmasters work all hours of the day to bring diners their slow-roasted, locally sourced meats. Décor is evocative of a traditional barbecue joint with rows of tables and wooden chairs, and an old truck is situated inside to make it authentically Texas. Alongside Prime-grade brisket there are side dishes including fried okra, hand-cut fries, pinto beans and onion rings. Hickory, oak, pecan and mesquite charcoal are used to smoke the meats, and guests walk through the service line to choose their pork, sausage, ribs or brisket while it's still cooking. Specialty items on the menu include the Torpedoes, jalapeños filled with chicken and brisket, and the four-cheese macaroni. Village Bakery supplies Ten 50 with bread and chocolate banana pudding. Bar options feature 24 local craft beers, as well as a house-made margarita.
