THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Terroni Restaurant Review:

An impressive 6,000-square-foot L.A. flagship of a Toronto-based chain, Terroni is located in the former National City Bank headquarters, a grand vintage bank building that the restaurant has artfully renovated while still providing its own imprint. Among the modern art incorporated into the 1924 interior is a bright red sculpture that hangs from the ceiling, inspired by Autodromo Nazionale Monza, the Grand Prix race track outside of Milan. The menu is similar to its sister restaurant on Beverly Boulevard, with starters ranging from ricotta-filled zucchini blossoms, arancini or duck prosciutto with burrata and spinach, drizzled with a high quality olive oil. Pastas include interesting dishes like cavatelli with deep-fried eggplant and ricotta, and spaghetti with black olives, black cherries and capers for a salty-sweet sensation. Among 30 pizzas --- they’re served whole at the table, so be prepared to divvy up slices with no assistance --- are classics like the margherita and novel creations like a white pizza with mascarpone, Gorgonzola, pear and ham. Finish with a satisfying tiramisu that arrives in a mason jar, and wash it all down with a Chianti Classico from the approachable list.
