There’s nothing fancy about this wood-paneled diner, which is adorned with vintage-looking booths and landscape paintings. But that doesn’t mean it --- or, to the point, the ground-on-site, hand-formed burgers, buttery melts and beef tallow-fried, house-cut fries --- isn’t special. Quite the contrary.
