Chef Ken Vedrinski, formerly of Daniel Island’s Sienna restaurant, is dedicated to Italian food, which means he’s obsessive about olive oil. This obsession then leads to a preoccupation with fine cheeses, pasta, tomato sauce and vegetables. The Monday family-style supper is popular---anyone can join the convivial family meal where nearly half the menu is served on piled platters and out of huge bowls. Eat pea salad coupled with mozzarella and Tuscan fennel seeds until your heart’s content. This dining experience also includes homemade gelati for dessert.
