THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Ways & Means Oyster House Restaurant Review:

This Old Town Orange venue is located just outside of the constant bustle of the city’s famous Orange Circle, which gives it a subdued, low-key vibe. Classic elegant chandeliers and white tablecloths are nicely tempered with chalkboards announcing the daily fresh catches and an approachable oyster bar. The restaurant’s list of oysters offered changes on a daily basis --- a testament to its commitment to keeping fresh product on hand. After you polish off a few bivalves and a glass of Champagne or a craft cocktail, move on to one of the massive towers of shrimp, crab claws and lobster to share or indulge in a less elaborate starter like salmon rillettes or tuna tartare. Entrées are a steady mix of seafood items like seared tuna or steamed halibut and classic steakhouse fare such as Prime rib-eye or roasted duck breast, giving plenty of options for the person in your party that doesn’t like fish. Desserts are pretty tasty, and are highlighted by the raspberry “eat and mess” meringue with vanilla ice cream. Expect a solid wine list, too.
