THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Yen Ching Restaurant Review:

Yen Ching has been faithfully offering Mandarin and Szechuan cuisine since 1978. Owners Ben and John Tzou took a rather nondescript building, located a few blocks south of the Orange Circle, and turned it into a haven for both its patrons and for eager young restaurateurs, who learn the business here before going out on their own. But the food is the thing, and you can find classic Chinese-American dishes like orange chicken, mu-shu pork, wonton soup, broccoli beef, kung pao shrimp, and a variety of chow mein and fried rice. Family-style prix-fixe dinners designed for parties from two to six guests are popular, and the Peking duck is a crisp-skinned standout. Although there is not a full bar, wine and beer are served.
