This dimly lit, romantic wine bar on the corner of Seventh Avenue and Carmine Street is a second incarnation, following the original location on 31st Street. The menu boasts plenty of vino-friendly snacks, including creamy hummus, garlicky white truffle pizza, a barbecue pork panino and fresh arugula salads. But the real stars are the wine and chocolate. There are chocolate martinis (including one with peanut butter), but if you don’t fancy filling up on rich beverages, leaf through the large wine list, which offers several options by the glass and some decent bottles in the $30 and $40 range. Service is friendly and knowledgeable.
