| Open for more than three decades, this Capitol Hill spot began as an espresso coffeehouse and dessert café. Despite the introduction of a full service menu, desserts remain the draw. The dazzling display case is filled with luscious cakes, pastries and pies. German chocolate cake, sour cream lemon pie and the B&O espresso mousse torte are hands-down favorites. For those seeking a savory bite, a selection of sandwiches and entrées is served into the wee hours, along with cocktails. Service tends to be inconsistent. |
