| Teak tables and Asian décor overflow from the dining rooms into a tropical jungle-like secluded rear patio where you can dine seated at bamboo chairs and tables. The cooking of chef Carl Marts produces the scents of chilies, garlic, curries, mint and peanut sauce. Here’s where to find authentic dumplings, spring and summer rolls, meat and chicken satay skewers, and coconut milk-based soups and sauces. The wok-tossed lobster or scallops in chile-wine sauce will transport you to Bangkok and beyond. Coconut-crusted fish cakes with mint sauce is a can’t-miss dish. Curry lovers will find coconut, red, green and classic Panang (carrot, potato, red onion and basil) sauces to enhance chicken, shrimp, lamb or beef tenderloin.
