Babette's Restaurant Review: This bohemian chic locale is a hot-spot for the trendy set of East Hampton. Celebrities wearing St. Barths T-shirts mingle with young weekenders in the bright corner room and at the few outdoor tables, ordering the predominantly organic vegetarian fare. Breakfast is served until 4:30 p.m. and includes the self-declared Outrageous Omelettes as well as a variety of other morning and brunch choices including eight-grain french toast, smoked salmon Benedict and organic maple granola. Later in the day, sample crisp goat cheese dumplings atop a beet salad; an organic turkey, grass-fed beef or lentil vegetable walnut burger with a variety of toppings; or the intriguing Proud Dragon Bowls, containing steamed vegetables, a choice of brown rice or noodles, a flavorful cilantro, basil and peanut sauce, and a protein. As far as libations are concerned, a well-stocked juice bar and smoothie selection are both on offer, as are a handful of specialty cocktails.
