| Owner Tony D’Amato’s elegant, old-world ristorante offers consistently well-made food in a sophisticated atmosphere. The dim lighting and tuxedo-clad waiters make it a shoo-in for romantic dinners, despite the less-than-typical and even somewhat industrial location. Seafood is highly recommended, especially the sea bass with capers, tomato and black olives; and the linguine with sweet clams, mussels and fresh pesto. Chef Domenico Alioto creates classics like caprese salad, osso buco, lamb shank and veal chops. Chocolate lovers will enjoy the mousse parfait. An extensive wine list favors Italy and has a special collection of Tony’s Reserve Selection for serious connoisseurs. |
