Bad Bean Baja Grill & Cantina Restaurant Review: Begin dinner with a refreshing house margarita --- either the Bad Bean original or the Ultimate (with Don Julio and Grand Marnier) and hot, crisp tortilla chips served with your choice of four house-made salsas: mild, medium (a good salsa fresca), verde and hot, a habanero version that includes a no-refund warning. At both lunch and dinner, tacos can be ordered à la carte and include shredded chicken, a tender pork barbacoa, beef brisket or rice and beans. These options can also be found filling quesadillas and giant Cali burritos. Mole, fresh fish and shrimp burritos as well as enchiladas are available at dinner, too, along with a few hearty steak and fish entrées. The Bad Bean Baja salad is a blend of mixed greens, jícama, pickled red onions and manchego cheese topped with a chipotle-lime dressing, and the Caesar salad with fried jalapeño rings and jalapeño Caesar dressing is a must-try. Nightly specials often include pork belly tacos. |
